Shipping And Receiving Clerk / Sit-Down Forklift Operator
Location: Sanford, FL
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
We are seeking an experienced Shipping and Receiving Clerk with sit-down forklift experience to join a busy warehouse team in Sanford.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments
- Safely operate a sit-down forklift
- Verify products and quantities against shipping documents
- Prepare, organize, and stage materials for shipment
- Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records
- Inspect received materials for damage or discrepancies
- Keep the warehouse and shipping areas clean and organized
- Follow all company safety procedures
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Requirements
- Previous shipping and receiving experience
- Sit-down forklift experience required
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Comfortable working in a hot warehouse environment
- Available to work overtime as needed
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
This position guarantees a minimum of 40 hours per week, with overtime available based on business needs. Candidates must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work additional hours when required.
