Custodian - Ankeny (Full-time or Part-time)

Custodian PositionManatt's has an opening for a full-time or part-time custodian at our Ankeny ready mix plants and offices.If you're looking for long term employment that provides stable employment, a good work life balance and great compensation with the ability to advance we are interested in talking to you.Essential responsibilities include:Cleans, sweeps, mops, vacuums and scrubs restrooms, showers, break areas, office spaces and all other assigned areas.Cleans windows and appliances.Replenishes restroom supplies, as necessary.Sanitizes and cleans counters.Empties wastebaskets and recycle bins.Removes oil spots and other residue from floors.Wipes oil barrel tops.Sweeps shop floors, including under work benches and all other floor space where dirt can accumulate.Sweeps floors using sweeping compound and Zamboni on shop floor.Rolls up air hoses, trouble light cords, and extension cords.Other duties may be assigned.QualificationsEducation and experience:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Certificates, licenses, registrations:Current driver's license.Other qualifications:Excellent work ethic.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
