Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Access Control in Plainfield, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a healthcare location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to staff, visitors, and patients. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon04:00 PM - 12:00 AMTue04:00 PM - 12:00 AMWed04:00 PM - 12:00 AMThur04:00 PM - 12:00 AMFri04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a healthcare and life-sciences location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including the business perimeter, parking areas, entrances, and restricted locations, while reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain orderly entry and exit throughout the facility. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed. Prepare accurate reports and complete required documentation related to patrols, incidents, access activity, and security-related observations. Minimum Requirements: Access control and badge experience is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
