Project Manager IIIThe Project Manager III manages high-complexity, high-impact customer projects with moderate to high risk profiles and significant business impact. This role exercises broad autonomy in delivery decisions, directly supervises a team of Project Coordinators and Project Managers, and serves as a senior escalation resource for complex client situations. The PM III contributes to delivery standards, mentors junior team members, and drives delivery excellence across the organization.Essential Functions:Manage multiple concurrent high-complexity customer projects with full autonomy over scope, schedule, budget, and risk decisionsServe as the primary point of contact for high-value or complex client accounts, owning the executive delivery relationship throughout the project lifecycleIndependently translate client Statements of Work and work orders into comprehensive project plans with clearly defined deliverables and milestonesDirectly supervise and develop a team of Project Coordinators and Project Managers, including performance management, coaching, and hiringProactively manage client escalations, change orders, and complex expectation management scenariosOversee project financials including spend-to-date, forecasted spend, budget burn rate, and billing accuracyCreate and maintain robust project controls: action item lists, risk logs, issue logs, change control, and decision logsServe as a senior escalation resource for project-level issues and client situations requiring experienced judgmentDrive structured project and operations meetings; ensure decisions and action items are clearly communicated and executedContribute to process improvement, methodology development, and best practice documentationMentor PM I and PM II team members, sharing expertise and supporting professional development across the teamPartner with Program Managers on cross-functional alignment and program-level initiatives as neededCompetencies:Ensures AccountabilityTech SavvyCommunicates EffectivelyValues DifferencesCustomer FocusResourcefulnessDrives ResultsPlans and PrioritizesDecision QualitySelf-DevelopmentWork Environment:This position is based in a professional office and warehouse setting and regularly utilizes workplace technology, including computers, smartphones, multifunction printers, cloud-based filing systems, and collaboration tools.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee in this position frequently communicates with other co-workers/clients who have inquiries about the various projects and other needs. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time. The employee in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operate a computer and office machinery such as a calculator, keyboard, copy machine and printer.
