We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative (CSR) who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience supporting the policy lifecycle from quote to bind.

Position Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring homeowners and personal lines policies are quoted, bound, and issued accurately and efficiently. This position requires close collaboration with insurance carriers, underwriting teams, mortgage companies, and agency staff to move policies through the underwriting process while delivering outstanding service to clients.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, experienced in personal lines insurance, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and bind new personal lines insurance policies with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Generate and revise insurance quotes using carrier rating systems and agency technology.
• Work directly with carrier underwriting departments to resolve underwriting conditions and obtain policy approvals.
• Collect and review required documentation to ensure policies meet carrier underwriting guidelines.
• Coordinate with mortgage companies, title companies, and loan processors to provide binders, evidence of insurance, declarations pages, and other required documentation for real estate closings.
• Follow up on outstanding underwriting requirements to ensure timely policy issuance.
• Process endorsements, policy changes, cancellations, reinstatements, and renewals.
• Respond to client, lender, and agency inquiries regarding coverage, billing, and policy status.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation within agency management and carrier systems.
• Collaborate with producers and agency staff to provide a seamless customer experience from quote through policy issuance.

Qualifications

• Active Florida 4-40 Customer Service Representative License required
• Previous experience in personal lines insurance, policy servicing, or insurance operations preferred.
• Experience quoting and binding homeowners insurance strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of carrier underwriting guidelines and documentation requirements.
• Experience communicating with mortgage companies, title agencies, and loan processors is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working with multiple carrier portals, agency management systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
