Vinegar process operator - Night shift | Training on day shift

Schedule:
Wednesday 4:30pm-10:30pm, Thursday- Saturday 4:30pm-5:00am

Training hours will be:
Wednesday: 4:30am-10:30am
Thursday: 4:30am-5:00pm
Friday: 4:30am-5:00pm
Saturday: 4:30am-5:00pm

A local manufacturer is seeking a processor operator! In this role, you'll be responsible for producing, moving, and monitoring liquid vinegar mixes while maintaining safety, quality, and sanitation standards. This is a hands-on, production-focused position ideal for someone detail-oriented and comfortable working in an industrial food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:
-Follow all safety, GMP, and food safety guidelines
-Review production schedules and produce required vinegar types and quantities
-Operate and monitor tanks, pumps, valves, lines, and related equipment
-Perform routine field inspections to ensure safe and efficient operations
-Troubleshoot process issues and escalate concerns as needed
-Conduct lab testing and accurately document results
-Load and unload bulk liquid shipments; receive and inspect raw materials
-Clean tanks, containers, and work areas according to sanitation procedures
-Complete production reports and certificates of analysis
-Monitor weekly inventory of raw materials and finished goods
-Participate in month-end inventory cycle counts
-Assist with sanitation tasks as needed

Requirements:
-1+ year of active, daily forklift operation experience required
-Forklift certification preferred
-Basic math and computer skills
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy
-Good verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to work overtime, on-call, and variable shifts
-Ability to work in high-temperature environments and around chemicals
-Steel toe footwear required
-Basic knowledge of acetator, fermentation, or Romicon operations preferred
-Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs. for 12 hours

-Must be able to pass drug testing and background check
