Customer Technical Program Manager

Overview Customer Technical Program Manager at Aligned Data Centers: a role that strategically manages customer engagement throughout the data center lifecycle, ensuring customers prefer Aligned over competitors. Key Responsibilities Pre‑Contract Support: coordinate contractual activities, collaborate with sales and solutions architects, lead platform delivery teams, and integrate design/SME input. Customer Engagement & Satisfaction: serve as the primary technical liaison, facilitate communication among internal and external teams, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to standardize processes. Project Engagement: integrate functional teams to deliver projects from pre‑construction to post‑delivery, maintain scope, schedule, budget, and lead contract/change‑management reviews. Risk Management: identify potential risks early and develop mitigation strategies. Technical Expertise: guide customers during base build and fit‑out phases to meet operational and technical requirements. Performance Monitoring: measure KPIs, track lessons learned, conduct post‑delivery assessments, and report project success and risks. Market Insights: stay current on customer/industry trends and emerging technologies to advise customers and shape strategic direction. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of design or project management experience in a data center environment. Mechanical or Electrical background preferred. Advanced experience in Excel, AutoCAD, and project‑management software (MS Project, Prolog, Procore, BIM 360, etc.). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multi‑task, manage time, and maintain confidentiality. Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings, cost estimating, and scope development. Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
