Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a crew to complete landscape maintenance and construction projects efficiently and safely.
- Perform hands-on landscaping tasks, including planting, mulching, pruning, installing seed and sod, grading, and lawn renovations.
- Apply proper planting techniques and ensure accurate plant identification on job sites.
- Install drainage systems according to project specifications.
- Operate equipment such as MT-52 (or equivalent) skid steer loaders and mini excavators.
- Coordinate with management to meet project timelines and maintain quality standards.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience as a landscaping crew leader, with references.
- Proficiency in planting, mulching, pruning, installing seed and sod, grading, and lawn renovations.
- Knowledge of proper planting techniques and plant identification.
- Experience installing drainage systems.
- Ability to operate MT-52 (or equivalent) skid steer loaders and mini excavators.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a truck and trailer.
- Ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
- Strong leadership skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
