JOB DESCRIPTION LOCATION: LVDReservation EMPLOYMENT: Full Time SALARY/PAY RATE: $22.00 - $28.00/Hour (D.O.E) DESCRIPTION: The carpenter is responsible forconstructing, erecting, designing, building, installing, repairing structures,fixtures, furniture, and other items made of materials including wood, plastic,fiberglass, vinyl, and steel, using hand and power tools. Primary Responsibilities: RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare the layout ofthe project. Estimate height, width,length, and other proportions. Ensure correct materialsare used for the project. Work with blueprints orinstructions from supervisors. Work with materials suchas wood, plastic, fiberglass, and drywall. Utilize all hand tools,drills, and nail guns to repair and erect structures. Join materials with nails, screws, staples, oradhesives. Work on ladders, scaffold,and the top beams of buildings. Check Work along the way to ensure it's up tocode and specifications. Use levels, rulers,plumb bobs, framing squares, and transit to ensure everything is level andsecure. Work with prefabricatedbuildings. Repair or build stairs,decks, and railings. Install cabinets,molding, and different types of flooring. Hanging and finishing drywallto be primed and painted, staining trim work. Remodel homes and businesses. Basis knowledge of masonwork, concrete forms, and flatwork. Erect scaffolding andsafety barriers. Install windows, doors,trim, fixtures, and cabinets on remodels and new homes. Repair and replace panesof glass, tile, and millwork. All other duties asassigned by Management. Skills & Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma orGeneral education degree (GED) Must be able to add,subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using wholenumbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must have a valid driver's license. Must have a valid driver's license. Must be able to pass pre-employment screening andbackground checks.
