Job Summary The Fuel Truck Operator is responsible for fueling equipment in the field at sites across the Phoenix/Metro area. There will be a $500 sign on bonus after 60 days as well another $500 sign on bonus after 180 days. Job Responsibilities Ability to operate Class A truck/trailer through all types of environments, including off road on job sites Transport fuel safely along assigned local or regional routes. Pump gas or diesel directly into storage tanks, fleet vehicles, or machinery Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks. Monitor equipment for leaks and ensure proper tank grounding during loading and unloading Ability to read and navigate a map Perform pre and post trip inspections as required by company and federal regulations Operate an electronic log book device for driver's hours of service regulations Verify load for accuracy Perform inspections at job sites to ensure a safe environment for loading/unloading Follow all federal, state, and local DOT, OSHA, and EPA regulations. Maintain accurate electronic or paper logs of driving hours, fuel inventory, and delivery tickets. Communicate clearly with dispatchers and on-site contacts.
