Role Overview The Commercial Services Specialist sources, solicits, and supports commercial services within First Community Bank’s Commercial Banking Operation (CBO) while providing a superior customer experience. Responsibilities span client service and sales, product implementation, and operational support. Responsibilities Client Service and Sales: Effectively consult with clients and prospects to determine commercial service needs; develop sales presentations, field demonstrations, and proposals; attend joint sales calls; identify cross‑sell opportunities; and meet/exceed team and personal production goals. Product Implementation: Guide commercial clients through onboarding for commercial services; open and service commercial deposit accounts, including document preparation and execution; stay current on new products, deposit accounts, and market trends; and recommend FCB product offerings. Operational Support: Administer one‑on‑one meetings with Business Development Officers, Commercial Relationship Managers, Market Managers, and Regional Managers; conduct retail branch meetings for product knowledge and training; act as a liaison between clients and internal departments; participate in team, sales, and pipeline meetings; adhere to regulatory, credit, and pricing policies; complete assigned training within expected timeframes; and support FCCB’s mission, vision, and values through the Company Standards of Conduct. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting and/or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. Two years of progressive experience in small‑business and commercial banking or equivalent business experience. Strong understanding of Commercial Services and relationship management. Self‑starter with minimal management oversight. Effective oral and written communication, organizational, and time‑management skills. Proficiency in computer technology and all software applications used by the FCB CBO. Ability to travel as needed, including occasional overnight travel.
