As an Ultrasound Technologist, you'll providehigh-quality patient care while performing a wide range of diagnosticultrasound procedures. In this role, you'll work closely with physicians,patients, and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure accurate imaging,exceptional patient experiences, and compliance with quality and safetystandards. The role alsooffers opportunities to expand registry credentials based on departmentalneeds. Schedule and available opportunities: Full-Time (1.0 FTE) |Monday throughFriday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Afternoon shift opportunity also available What You’ll Do Verify patient identity and reviewexam orders for accuracy & safety Guide patients through procedureswith compassion and professionalism Perform high-quality 2D and 3Dultrasound examinations Ensures timely, accurate imagetransfer to PACS and resolves system issues. Complete imaging measurements,documentation, and reporting in accordance with protocols Prepare medications, supplies, andequipment using sterile technique when appropriate Assist physicians with ultrasoundguidance during interventional procedures Ensure patient safety, performprocedural timeouts, and maintain regulatory compliance Collaborate with leadership onscheduling, coordination, protocol development & patient flow Participate in CQI, QA,accreditation, and departmental improvement projects Assist with staff training, equipmentmaintenance, inventory management, and other duties as assigned What We Are Looking For Qualifications Graduate of an approved AMA schoolUltrasound Technology program Eligible for national sonographyregistries ; MultipleARDMS registries strongly preferred ARDMS certification preferred(Abdomen, OB/GYN, or Vascular) Current BLS certification required 2+ years of ultrasound experience,including Pediatrics and OB Experience in both inpatient andoutpatient settings & assisting physicians with thoracentesis,paracentesis, biopsies, and related procedures Proficiency in multiple ultrasoundmodalities, RIS, HIS, and PACS systems Experience assisting physicianswith thoracentesis, paracentesis, biopsies, and related procedures Competency in operating ultrasoundequipment Additional Requirements: Strong understanding of patient safety,sterile technique, imaging protocols, and regulatory requirements Excellent communication, interpersonal andcollaborative skills Additional compensation may be availablefor specialty registries What You Can Expect: Competitive Compensation Long & Short-Term DisabilityCoverage, HSA& FSA Options Tuition Assistance &Reimbursement 403(b) Retirement Plan with 3%employer match Cafeteria, Health Club Membership& Affordable Child Care Success Share Payout The role alsooffers opportunities to expand registry credentials based on departmentalneeds Compensation is reviewed annually toremain competitive with industry standards.
