PrideStaff - Greenville is seeking a meticulous and reliable Visual Quality Inspector on behalf of a major automotive supplier in the Fountain Inn area.

In this role, you are the final line of defense. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of automotive components by identifying defects before they leave the facility. This position is ideal for someone who prefers a schedule with overtime and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, industrial production environment.

Visual Quality Inspector Primary Responsibilities include:

Your main responsibility is the rigorous visual and physical inspection of automotive parts , ensuring 100% compliance with client specifications and safety standards .

• Visual Inspection: Meticulously examine automotive parts and components for defects such as scratches, dents, burrs, flash, and discoloration.
• Precision Measurement: Use basic measurement tools and gauges to verify part dimensions against technical specifications.
• Blueprint Reading: Interpret work instructions, schematics, and blueprints to ensure every product meets the "Gold Standard" of quality.
• Documentation: Clearly and accurately document all quality issues, non-conformities, and inspection data in the tracking system.
• Production Collaboration: Work closely with the production team to communicate quality concerns and assist in implementing corrective actions.
• Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inspection station at all times.

Visual Quality Inspector Requirements include:

• PPE & Uniform: Steel-toe shoes and black work pants are required at all times. * Required Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or quality control (QC) role is highly preferred.
• Visual Acuity: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to spot minute defects under production lighting.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for the duration of the shift and work comfortably in a rugged industrial environment.
• Technical Skills: Ability to use and read basic measuring instruments and follow complex written work instructions.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for accurate reporting and team coordination.
• Schedule Reliability: Ability to commit to a 6 or 7 days a week schedule consistently.
