We are Givaudan. Human by nature.As a Senior Global Category Manager, reporting to the Head of Procurement RM T&W Beverages, you will develop and implement strategies. These strategies will include related tactical plans to source the large spend and complex/business critical RM categories. Additionally, you will secure supply for those categories following the business plan. Operating with high autonomy, you will manage a clear sourcing strategy, priority setting and resource optimization,This position can be based at Cincinnati, Sao Paulo or Netherlands working in a hybrid model (4 days at the office, 1 day remote).For Cincinnati, salary expectation based on technical experience: $160,000 to $180,000Your main responsibilities will include:Sourcing StrategyManage the key category according to the current procurement strategyDrive the implementation of RM into the categoryAnalyze market and implement risk management strategies for the portfolioLead sourcing strategy development within cross functional team for main categoriesDrive sourcing strategy implementation by leading major RFQs and key negotiationsPortfolio ManagementNegotiate contracts globallySelect, manage and audit suppliersIdentify opportunities for portfolio optimization and involve creation and manufacturing in development of optimization plansOwn key supplier relationship, and lead GBS escalated supplier conflict resolutionsCommunicate to suppliers any forthcoming changes specificationsEnsure contract cover for materials and supplier compliance to contractsEnsure vendor performance at target levelsStakeholder RelationshipCommunicate to main internal stakeholders/Segment BP any market conditions changes which may affect the BusinessSupport the responsible sourcing / Sourcing4 good projects implementation and provide information to Procurement Sustainability Manager – in full agreement on our global sustainability strategyCost OptimizationProvide information for business planning processDevelop cost reduction projectsProvide price forecast and market trends for main commoditiesPeople ManagementDevelop category managers supported by proper development planningYou?Your professional profile includes:Bachelor's degree in similar fields.7+ years of experience in ProcurementKnowledge of F&F industry/FMCG Manufacturing/Chemical industrySpecific technical and market knowledge in the respective category.Fluent in English.
