Job Details Position:Locum Tenens Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Location:Columbus, Ohio Setting:High-acuity pediatric / Level IV NICU environment Start Date:October 12, 2026 End Date:April 12, 2027 Duration:26 weeks Schedule:3 shifts per week Shift Duration:12-hour day shifts Shift Time:6:00 AM - 6:30 PM Credentialing Timeframe:6-8 weeks Patient Volume:Approximately 10-12 patients per day Job Requirements Current Acute Care Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-AC) certification required Minimum of 2 years of recent PICU and/or Level IV NICU experience Experience with Epic EMR required Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required Strong skills in trach and ventilator management Experience with arterial punctures and intubations required Must be comfortable practicing in a highly specialized neonatal and pediatric critical care setting Compact RN licensure may be considered DEA Responsibilities Provide advanced acute care support for critically ill neonatal and pediatric patients Manage care within a high-acuity BPD unit and Level IV NICU setting Perform and assist with advanced procedures including arterial puncture and intubation Support tracheostomy and ventilator management for complex patients Collaborate with a multidisciplinary pediatric care team to deliver safe, effective treatment Assess, monitor, and respond to changes in patient condition with clinical precision Document care accurately in Epic and contribute to smooth continuity of care Maintain a high standard of compassionate, family-centered pediatric care Benefits GHR Healthcare offers 401K with Matching, Healthcare, Dental and Vision to Employees.
