Job Details Position: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Locum Tenens Location: Columbus, OH 43214 Setting: Level 3 NICU / High-delivery hospital Start Date: October 12, 2026 End Date: October 11, 2027 Duration: 52 weeks Shifts Per Week: 3 shifts per week Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts Schedule: 50/50 day and night rotation Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week Orientation: 16 hours Estimated Weekly Pay: $4,090-$4,380 Job Requirements Active Nurse Practitioner certification required At least 1 year of experience in neonatology required Experience in a Level 3 NICU or similar neonatal intensive care setting preferred Strong procedural skills, including intubation, umbilical line placement, and thoracentesis LP experience preferred Comfort working a rotating day and night schedule DEA may be required for credentialing Responsibilities Provide advanced neonatal care in a busy NICU environment Assess, stabilize, and manage newborn patients with varying acuity levels Perform neonatal procedures as needed, including intubation and umbilical line placement Support care for a patient load of approximately 12-15 patients per shift Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care Respond to clinical needs within a high-delivery hospital setting Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively across the care team Why Join This Columbus Healthcare Opportunity?
