Travel Physical Therapist (PT)

Role:

Travel Physical Therapist (PT) responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life in various healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical conditions using tests and examinations.
• Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Operate and maintain physical therapy equipment safely.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments, and document outcomes.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and self-management.
• Ensure safety and infection control protocols are followed.
• Participate in quality improvement and professional development activities.
• Support discharge planning for seamless patient transitions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid Physical Therapy license and current BLS certification.
• Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in English and PC skills.
• Physical ability to move, lift, and assist patients and equipment.
• Effective interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and patients.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and maintain attention to detail.
