Job Title: Controls Engineer Job Description
We are seeking a talented Controls Engineer to provide project support for smaller-scale projects and line optimization, specifically for our e-compressor line supplying to major automotive companies. The role involves troubleshooting equipment and modifying existing PLC programs to support individual cells being installed, rather than entire production lines.
Responsibilities

• Provide project support for smaller-scale projects and line optimization.
• Troubleshoot equipment and modify existing PLC programs to enhance the e-compressor line.
• Focus on individual cells rather than entire production lines for troubleshooting and program modifications.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and program modification, especially with Allen Bradley PLCs.
• Experience with HMI and controls engineering.
• Robotic experience and robotic programming skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments, ideally in the automotive sector.
• Ability to prioritize and remain focused amidst changing situations.
• Knowledge of electrical schematic design and automation is a plus.

Work Environment
The position operates within a fast-paced environment, offering opportunities for overtime. The work involves high-paced manufacturing settings where quick adaptation and focus are key.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Morristown, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
