For me, that's a big breath of fresh air." - Sunrise Leader Position Summary The Lead Care Manager supervises a team of Care Managers during the shift, ensuring quality care and documentation in line with residents' Service Plans and Sunrise policies. The role may include variable hours, including some weekends and holidays. Responsibilities & Qualifications Essential Responsibilities Provide supervisory support, including attendance management and shift communication. Support team members in delivering Activities of Daily Living (ADL) care per residents' Service Plans. Encourage resident participation in life enrichment activities. Assist with meal service and coach staff on hospitality standards. Accurately document care provided and review documentation for quality. Monitor compliance with policies, including timekeeping and break schedules. Work flexible hours, including holidays, evenings, and weekends. Prepare shift assignments and participate in crossover meetings. Carry resident group assignments during overnight shifts and fill in as needed. Other Responsibilities Cross-train and credential to administer medications if needed. Lead by example in clocking in/out and taking breaks. Support onboarding and training of new staff. Maintain a safe environment and report incidents. Communicate resident condition changes and support care plan updates. Address conflicts and contribute to performance reviews. Present a professional and friendly image. Qualifications High School diploma or GED preferred; required per state regulations. Effective communication skills. Relevant certifications, including Medication Management Certificate. Experience working with seniors and leadership skills. Ability to delegate, make decisions, and handle multiple priorities. Proficiency in computer skills and Sunrise applications. Driver's license and safe driving record if operating a Sunrise vehicle.
