The ideal candidate will have a technical background with an interest in containerization technologies, and an understanding of cloud services, particularly AWS. We are looking for a hands-on professional who is passionate about automation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.What you'll do:Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development processDevelop and manage containerization solutions using Docker and KubernetesDeploy, manage, and monitor applications on VMWare or AWS infrastructureCollaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of softwareAutomate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deploymentMonitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system operationsEnsure security best practices are implemented across all stages of the development lifecycleCreate and maintain detailed documentation of processes, configurations, and architectureWhat you'll need:0-2 years of DevOps related experience (e.g.: containerization, CI/CD pipelines, etc.)Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related fieldFive (5) years of relevant experience can substitute for a bachelor's degreeBonus Points if you have:Certification in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect)Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar roleHands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, or similar container and orchestration technologiesStrong expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or RubyExperience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormationFamiliarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administrationExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsClearance:Must have an active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearanceAs required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
