Our certified and highly-skilled teams specialize in structural steel design, engineering, detailing, fabrication, erection and retrofit to existing structural members.The Material Handler is responsible for preparing structural steel and assisting with loading and unloading steel from trucks as required.DAILY RESPONSIBILITIESOperate forklift as neededPerform rigging work including jacking and stakingLoad and unload steel from trucksLoad steel to transfer tables to feed production linePerform other duties as required to support the fabrication shopREQUIREMENTS Must have 2-3 years experience with using overhead cranes.Experience using and operation a forklift is required.Maintain a positive work atmosphere by functioning and communicating in an effective manner with co-workers, clients, and supervisors.Works in compliance with Kinsley's safety policies and procedures.Must be able to work overtime and Saturdays as needed.Basic math skills are required.Must be able to tolerate hot and cold working environment.Must be able to stand on feet for up to 10 hours.Must be organized and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Equal Opportunity Employer: All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.Kinsley Steel, Inc. is a Drug Free Workplace where post-offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Kinsley Steel, Inc. is a participant in the Federal E-Verify Program.
