Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $1580 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Tennessee license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live>50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience:Start IVs, basic wound care, and maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes preferred.

Special Requests:Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.

Shift&Scheduling:2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4 week schedule.

Unit Details:The unit is a trauma medical-surgical unit.Equipment includes IV pumps, telemetry, SCDs, Continuous Pulse Ox Machines, Feeding Pumps, PCA, EKG machines, a bladder scanner, and iMobile communication technology.

Floating Requirements:Contract labor floats first; floating follows a rotation when multiple contract labor staff are scheduled.
