Job Roles and Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to produce precision machined components.
Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions.
Machine high-quality parts in low to medium production volumes.
Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and CMM.
Edit G-code programs and adjust machine offsets as needed.
Troubleshoot machining issues to ensure product quality and efficiency.
Maintain accurate dimensional and quality standards throughout production.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet manufacturing deadlines.
Support continuous improvement and efficient shop operations.
Qualifications and Certifications
Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on CNC machining experience required.
Experience with CNC setup and operation required.
Experience operating CNC Mills and/or CNC Lathes required.
Experience using precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and CMM required.
Experience editing G-code and adjusting machine offsets preferred.
Experience with Haas, Fanuc, or Hurco CNC controls preferred.
Experience with live tooling and 4-axis/5-axis machining preferred.
Strong troubleshooting, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Reliable attendance and ability to work independently.
