Senior Data ScientistEpsilon's Data Science & AI practice within the Analytics Services team is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to deliver advanced analytics and data science solutions that drive measurable business impact for our clients. In this role, you will focus on solving complex business problems such as customer segmentation, campaign optimization, churn reduction through a combination of statistical modeling, machine learning, and experimentation. You will work closely with analytics consulting, cross-functional partners, and global delivery teams to translate business questions into analytical solutions, ensuring high-quality and efficient execution across a distributed team model. As a senior team member, you will guide analytical approaches, ensure rigor and quality, and help evolve procedures while operating within a modern, platform-enabled data science ecosystem.Responsibilities:Partner with business collaborators, analytics consulting, and client delivery teams to define analytical approaches and deliver solutionsDesign, develop, and deliver analytics solutions, including segmentation, targeting, and data-driven insightsApply statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to drive customer-level insights (e.g., churn, CLV, propensity, attribution)Design and analyze experiments (A/B testing, incrementality, causal inference) to measure marketing effectiveness and ROICommunicate complex analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiencesFind opportunities to standardize analytics approaches through reusable methodologies and frameworksCollaborate closely with offshore data science teams, including task prioritization, work allocation, and quality assurance of analytical deliverablesProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring consistency in methodology, coding standards, and analytical rigorApply modern machine learning techniques and leverage emerging capabilities (e.g., Generative AI, advanced experimentation) where appropriateQualifications:6–10+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related quantitative fieldStrong foundation in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data modelingExperience working with large-scale data environments (e.g., Databricks, Spark)Proven ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions and actionable insightsExperience working with distributed and offshore teams in a global delivery modelStrong experience with experimental design and measurement (A/B testing, causal inference, marketing attribution)Familiarity with data visualization and storytelling techniques to communicate insights effectivelyExperience working with cloud-based data environments (Azure, AWS) and data pipelines is preferredMaster's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field (PhD a plus)Hands-on coding experience in Python is requiredExposure to MLOps concepts and model lifecycle management is a plusFamiliarity with Generative AI / LLM applications for analytics and insights is a plusBecause You Matter:As an Epsilon employee, you deserve perks and benefits that put you, your family and your finances first.
