Our job in Data Science is to turn that raw advantage into intelligence: the insights, models, and experiments that optimize the marketplace and prove the value we create.As a Senior Data Scientist, you'll partner with engineering, product, and business leaders to drive analysis that shapes strategy — from bidding efficacy and audience curation to measurement, attribution, and our centralized experimentation platform. You'll help DT build a culture of continuous, evidence-based improvement across every product surface.About the Senior Data Scientist RoleFrame ambiguous business problems as crisp, testable data and modeling questions, and deliver analysis that informs product and commercial strategyDesign and analyze experiments (A/B and beyond) and help establish DT's centralized experimentation tracking — a single source of truth for hypotheses, results, and decisionsBuild statistical and ML models for audience segmentation, bid/UA optimization, lifetime value, and measurement/attributionDevelop time-series and real-time event understanding that improves the timeliness and relevance of recommendations and biddingPartner with ML and Data Engineering to productionize models and feed insights into the Next Best Action frameworkCommunicate findings clearly to technical and executive audiences, and mentor other analysts and scientistsAbout You as the Senior Data Scientist8+ years in data science or quantitative analysis, ideally in AdTech, marketplaces, or consumer-scale productsStrong foundations in experimental design, hypothesis testing, causal inference, and statistical/ML modeling (regression, classification, clustering, time-series)Fluency in SQL and Python (or R), and comfort working with large-scale data in cloud data warehouses / lakesDistinctive problem-solving skills and the ability to translate analysis into business recommendationsExcellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to influence senior stakeholdersNice to haveExperience with Databricks, Spark, or semantic-layer / metrics platformsBackground in bidding, auctions, recommendation, or measurement/attributionExperience standing up experimentation tooling or analytics infrastructureAbout Digital Turbine:Digital Turbine (NASDAQ: APPS) powers superior mobile consumer experiences and results for the world’s leading telcos, advertisers and publishers.
