Deliver dedicated one-on-one speech therapy sessions centered on aspects of communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.

Engage in collaborative efforts with physical and occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, and family members to devise comprehensive care plans.

Provide educational resources to patients and families to encourage progress outside of therapy sessions.

Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring a consistent care trajectory throughout the patient experience.

Document all patient interactions and treatment notes promptly in accordance with state, federal, and organizational policies.

Commit to ongoing professional development through education and teamwork with peers in the field.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Florida.

Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.

In-depth knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques for all age groups, with a focus on both developmental and acquired communication and swallowing disorders.

Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, their families, and interdisciplinary team members.

Ability to customize therapy approaches to cater to a variety of cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
