Job Overview HVAC Technician at Providence Mission Hospital, Mission Viejo, CA. Full-time position, 8‑hour day shifts. Responsibilities include operating, maintaining, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, plumbing, medical gas systems, boilers, pumps, chillers, fire sprinklers, fire alarm, HVAC, refrigeration, generators, and medical support equipment. Work closely with Stationary Engineers and other staff to ensure equipment and systems function properly. Required Qualifications National EPA Section 608 Certification (upon hire) and State/County/City trade license authority. Minimum 1 year experience in at least four of the following: electrical, plumbing, medical gas systems, boilers, pumps, chillers, fire sprinklers, fire alarm, HVAC, refrigeration, generators, medical support equipment. Preferred Qualifications Coursework or training from a trade school related to these fields. 3 years hospital experience.
