Speech-Language Pathologist in Winchendon, MA

A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a contract position in Winchendon, MA, starting ASAP through June 26, 2026. This role provides an opportunity to work within an educational setting, supporting students' communication and speech development.


Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with students' educational goals.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with educational and legal requirements.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to team planning.
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapeutic strategies as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Experience working within school-based settings preferred.
• Strong knowledge of speech and language development in children.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, families, and school personnel.
