Compliance Manager, Analyst

Compliance Manager Location: In-office position located in the Metropark Train Station area in Iselin, NJ. DSV - Global transport and logistics Summary The Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies within the transportation and logistics industry. They develop and implement compliance programs, monitor compliance activities, and provide guidance to mitigate risks. The Compliance Manager plays a critical role in maintaining a strong ethical culture and promoting regulatory compliance throughout the organization. Responsibilities Outline processes and documentation for support. Oversee day‑to‑day operational support for CargoWise reports and ACE portal. Maintain and manage customer service requests from internal stakeholders. Provide production application support as needed. Manage and monitor existing functionalities; define new functionality for application integrity and optimization. Interface with internal and external technical staff and stakeholders to define application solutions, resolve problems, and troubleshoot. Support and generate reports for management‑informed decisions. Support brokerage business through CargoWise application. Support the business/sales organization during tender/RFQ processes related to customer integration from a business perspective. Act as first point of contact for local business and sales organization when an integration and/or adjustment is requested. Provide technical documentation of system components and processes. Create test scenarios for messages related to the integration request, inbound and outbound. Perform User Acceptance Tests (UAT) within agreed timelines. Act as first point of contact after Go‑live; monitor, troubleshoot, and create incidents for any issue during the hyper‑care phase. Qualifications Strong understanding of brokerage. Experience with SQL, ERP, and databases. Preferred understanding of 3rd‑party logistics, transportation systems, and/or warehouse management. Knowledge of leading industry technologies and IT governance, project planning, and alternative technological usage in a multi‑platform environment. Thorough understanding of XML and EDI. General understanding of the supply chain management (SCM) including: forwarding, US customs, MQ, AMS, ABI, ACH, drawback, declarations, commercial invoicing, manifests, bookings, purchase orders, HTS, ISF. General understanding of export is a plus. PC literacy with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams). Bachelor’s degree from a 4‑year college or university. Minimum 1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Compensation & Benefits For this position, the expected base pay is $86,500 – $129,500 / Annual. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, geographic location, and other objective business considerations.
