About the role Join the Climate and Environment team in an exciting newly created role that will help shape sustainability, drive positive impact and deliver meaningful change across the department. The Climate and Environment Branch develops, directs and manages environmental compliance and sustainability across the Department. It develops, leads and implements environmental strategy and initiatives that reduce environmental impact, ensures alignment with environmental legislation and policy, and drives continuous improvement across sustainability practices to support responsible, future focused assets and operations. The Program and Compliance Officer will have previous climate and/or environmental experience, and support the development and delivery of environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives by co‑ordinating program activities, monitoring climate and environmental legislation and policy requirements, maintaining environmental licensing and data, and managing reporting allied with the WA Emissions Reductions Framework.
