Project Manager

The Project Manager (PM) owns the scope, schedule and budget for material handling projects assigned. The role includes coordination and correspondence with the internal project team, vendors, subcontractors, and the customer. The PM is expected to maintain an on-site presence from first access through project completion on all projects. Responsibilities Manage projects up to $40M budget. Collaborate effectively with other departments and subcontractors. Communicate effectively with the customer. Schedule and maintain engineering activities for projects. Develop solutions to installation and other mechanical issues. Analyze progress and identify schedule issues in a timely manner. Recruit and evaluate talent to grow the department. Juggle multiple tasks and changing priorities. Make tactical decisions and ensure their execution. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project). Spend 50% of time on project site. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Program Executive. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Business or Construction Management, or related experience strongly preferred. 5+ years’ experience in the material handling industry or site project management. Experience managing a department or focused work team. Experience with detailed scheduling. Experience working with customers in planning and troubleshooting issues. Experience coordinating department activities with other departments. Experience managing a budget up to $40M. Salary The base salary range for this role is $87,600 to $131,300. Actual base salary offered will vary based on location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
