AI Developer I Pay Rate: $72–$77/hr Duration: 12-month contract Location: Juno Beach, FL Summary Our client is seeking an AI Developer I to join their engineering team on a 12-month contract. This is an early-career opportunity for an engineer to contribute to the design, development, and deployment of AI and machine learning solutions under the guidance of senior team members. The ideal candidate is eager to build foundational technical skills across the ML lifecycle — from data preparation and feature engineering to model evaluation and algorithm implementation — while gaining exposure to modern agentic and generative AI systems. Job Responsibilities In this role, you will manage and support a variety of projects within the AI/ML engineering department. Key responsibilities include: Assisting with data preparation, feature engineering, and model evaluation Implementing algorithms using established ML frameworks Developing, testing, and maintaining ML models and AI-driven features Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code Collaborating with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers Debugging issues across the ML pipeline Participating in code reviews Essential Job Duties and Job Functions Support the full lifecycle of AI/ML solution development, from data readiness through deployment Apply foundational software engineering practices to ML code and workflows Work cross-functionally with data science, engineering, and product teams to deliver AI-driven features Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in models and supporting code Contribute to a collaborative code review process and incorporate feedback from senior engineers Knowledge and Skills Strong proficiency in Python Familiarity with data structures and algorithms Familiarity with version control systems Exposure to agentic and generative AI systems Strong problem-solving skills with an eagerness to learn Ability to write clean, maintainable, well-documented code Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field 0–5 years of software development or AI/ML experience #J-18808-Ljbffr Hydrogen UK Ltd
