About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Infusion Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: 1 year minimum License: Must hold a valid nursing license Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: First-timers accepted; Weekend requirements: Every third weekend Description: Position specialized in Oncology Infusion. The shift time is from 19:00 to 07:30. Candidates are required to have at least 1 year of experience. First-time travelers are accepted for this role. Weekend work is required every third weekend. BLS certification is required for this position. No on-call duties are required. The clinician may float within their scope to meet facility needs. The facility may request a maximum of 5 days of requested time off. Guaranteed hours will be subject to the facility's cancellation policy. This position emphasizes care for adult patients, primarily in oncology and hospice settings. Daily census is approximately 20 patients. The unit may handle a variety of oncology diagnoses, chemotherapy, and comfort care. Interdisciplinary support includes various healthcare professionals such as pharmacists and physical therapists. Essential skills include administering chemotherapy, managing ports, and providing patient education. Charting will be conducted using an electronic system. All necessary certifications and training must be maintained throughout the assignment.
