Registered Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Labor and Delivery as well as Pediatric care. This position involves working night shifts, specifically three 12-hour shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with a rotating weekend schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory therapy services to patients, including assessments and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
• Perform interventions in Labor and Delivery and Pediatric units.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations and treatments.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved Respiratory Therapy Program.
• Experience in Labor and Delivery and Pediatric care is required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT) credential or Certified Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-CRT) credential is preferred.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license is required.

Licenses/Certifications Required:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (must be obtained at hire or within 90 days).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (must be obtained at hire or within 90 days).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (must be obtained at hire or within 90 days).
