LASER OPERATOR / SHEET METAL FABRICATION
J&K Commercial Construction
J&K Commercial Construction is expanding our stainless steel and sheet metal manufacturing division, and we’re looking for an experienced, dependable Laser Operator to join our team.
Previous laser cutting machine experience is required for this position. We are looking for someone who already understands the fundamentals of laser operation and wants the opportunity to expand their skills, learn additional fabrication equipment, and build a long-term career with a growing company.
WHAT YOU’LL DO- Operate sheet and tube laser cutting equipment
- Load and unload material
- Set up and monitor laser cutting operations
- Read and understand blueprints and fabrication drawings
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality
- Deburr and prepare laser-cut components for fabrication
- Assist press brake operators when needed
- Maintain an organized and efficient work area
- Work with our fabrication team to keep projects moving
- Learn additional fabrication processes and equipment as your skills develop
Laser cutting machine experience is required.
Ideal candidates will also have:
- Sheet metal or metal fabrication experience
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read a tape measure and understand dimensions
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new equipment and processes
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Willingness to obtain forklift, industrial safety, and CPR certifications after hire

Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Overtime opportunities are available and may occasionally be required depending on workload.
