As a Associate Financial Advisor, you will work closely with lead advisors to deliver comprehensive financial planning and investment management services to a growing client base. You will play an active role in client relationships, portfolio analysis, and financial plan development while building toward a path to full advisory responsibilities.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESClient Experience & Advice:Follow the Springbrook Wealth Advisor service model to support client retention and growthServe as primary point of contact for assigned clients, handling inquiries and service requestsPrepare for and lead client review meetings, including materials and follow-upProactively identify opportunities to deepen relationships and address new planning needsOnboard new clients: account opening, data gathering, and risk profilingManage client administrative needs, including estate settlementsParticipate in client events and networking to help grow the practiceCoordinate with clients' accountants and lawyers for comprehensive adviceBuild financial plans covering retirement, investment, tax, insurance, and estate planningAnalyze portfolios and recommend investments aligned with client goals and risk toleranceModel financial scenarios and present findings to clients and lead advisorsMonitor client portfolios and flag issues needing attentionReview insurance needs and recommend coverage for life, disability, and long-term careRecommend annuity options as neededOperations:Document all client interactions, transactions, and recommendations per firm policy and regulationsMaintain accurate client records in CRM and portfolio management systemsSupport compliance reviews, audits, and reportingStay current on regulatory changes affecting advisory servicesAttend and actively participate in team meetingsQUALIFICATIONS:Required:Goal driven, growth mindset a mustActive Series 7, 65 or Series 66, New Jersey Life and Health license (required at time of hire)Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field1 or more years of experience in financial planning, asset management, or a related roleProficiency with financial planning software (MoneyGuidePro) and CRM platforms (salesforce)Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skillsHigh degree of integrity and commitment to fiduciary standardsCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS:Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: starting at $60,000Performance-based bonus tied to client satisfaction and business development goalsFlex savings, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with employer matchPaid support for continuing education, professional development, and licensure renewalBase Pay SalaryThe salary range will be starting $60,000/ yearFull-Time/Part-TimeFull timeAmeriprise Financial is an equal opportunity employer.
