This role plays a key part in ensuring technicians have the correct materials quickly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will bring HVAC product knowledge, leadership ability, and a passion for operational excellence.Additionally, this position directly oversees the parts counter and will provide daily support to the shop and field teams.Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse OperationsLead and oversee all daily warehouse functions including receiving, stocking, material staging, and shippingMaintain safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment compliant with company and OSHA standardsPerform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory controlsManage logistics coordination for inbound/outbound productsPurchasing & ProcurementSource and purchase HVAC parts, tools, and equipment to support daily operationsDevelop and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective purchasingTrack purchase orders, delivery schedules, and supplier performanceMonitor inventory usage and adjust purchasing strategies accordinglyParts Counter LeadershipAct as primary lead of the parts counter to support service and installation teamsProvide technical parts knowledge and sourcing support to techniciansEnsure accuracy in parts distribution, returns processing, and inventory handlingMaintain high levels of internal customer service and reduce technician downtimeQualifications3+ years experience in warehouse or inventory management requiredHVAC industry experience strongly preferredKnowledge of HVAC components, suppliers, and supply chain standardsStrong communication, organization, and leadership skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in inventory software systems and Microsoft OfficeValid driver's license and acceptable driving record (if driving company vehicles)Core CompetenciesLeadership & AccountabilityDetail Orientation & AccuracySupplier Relationship ManagementProblem-Solving & InitiativeOperational Efficiency & Continuous ImprovementWhy Join BluflameOpportunity for long-term career growth with a respected HVAC leaderStrong team culture that values support, development, and recognitionCompetitive compensation and benefits packageHeartland Home Service is an equal opportunity employer.
