Water Mitigation Technician

Key qualifications include being a team player with outstanding leadership qualities, self-motivated with a sense of urgency, a positive attitude and a strong work ethic, belief in providing exceptional customer service, proficiency with computers, mobile devices and various technologies, detail oriented, highly communicative, and ability to prioritize and manage timelines. Prefer current IICRC certifications, but willing to train the right candidate. Minimum 1 year experience in the home services industry.

Essential responsibilities/tasks include professionally representing the Paul Davis core values, serving as point person and first responder during emergency losses, establishing and recording the scope of work to be accomplished, preparing accurate equipment readings and sketches for estimator to complete scope of work, overseeing equipment maintenance and expendables, communicating with management and customers, full time position with 24/7 hours and rotating on-call schedule, completing jobs successfully and obtaining certificate of completion, ability to climb a ladder, lift at least 75 pounds and work in confined spaces, and following established safety practices including the proper use of PPE when required.

Education, training and experience include high school graduation or other equivalent (i.e. GED, etc.) Minimum of one (1) year experience in WRT, ASD, but willing to train the right candidate.

Licenses and certificates include having a valid driver's license, clean driving record and passing a background check.

Performance standards for this position include all work flows and processes to be documented daily, all work to be performed in accordance with the state laws and IICRC regulations, all work to be performed according to company policies, and to Paul Davis standards, all work to be performed in accordance with all safety standards and regulations, customers to be treated in a courteous and professional manner, employees to always wear a company uniform when representing the company, and company equipment and vehicles to be kept neat, clean, and in working order.
