Invasive Cardiac Tech Cardiac Cath Lab (Park Ridge, IL)
This contract is built for a tech who's already confident in high-acuity cath lab and EP work. The department runs a tight, well-supported setup with full cardiac coverage, and the call structure follows a pretty classic cath lab rhythm.
Shift & Schedule
- 10-hour day shift
- Start time: 7:00 a.m. or 8:00 a.m.
- Call required:
- 1 weekday per week
- Every 5th weekend
- Weekday call starts after 5:30 p.m.
- Weekend call runs Fri 5:30 p.m. to Mon 7:00 a.m.
- 30-minute response time
- Holidays follow the call rotation
- No floating

- 4 procedure rooms
- 15 prep/recovery bays
- 1:1 patient ratios
- Scrubs provided
Required Experience
- At least 3 years Cath Lab experience
- Strong EP background
- Experience assisting with pacemakers and ICDs
- Must be able to scrub and support:
- Structural heart
- Complex coronary
- Peripheral vascular
- EP procedures
- Previous travel experience preferred
Certifications & Licensing
- IL State License (IEMA)
- ARRT
- BLS
- ACLS preferred
- EPIC experience preferred, not mandatory

- High-acuity cardiac procedures
- Fast-moving, team-oriented environment
