Warehouse Shift SupervisorWe are growing our Warehouse Leadership Team and adding an additional supervisors on each shift. We currently have the following openings: 1st (1), 2nd (2), 3rd (1), and weekend (1).The Warehouse Shift Supervisor plays a key role in providing exceptional service to our customers. The successful candidate for this position should be a leader who motivates their shift to be a winning team. The successful candidate needs to take pride in their team, set goals, and inspire their team to reach these goals. The shift supervisor leads warehouse team members in safely and efficiently fulfilling orders for customers, ensuring that the order is shipped accurately and on time.Primary responsibilities include:Working within our WMS to complete customer orders in the proper time frameCommunicating regularly with customer service regarding updates to ordersBeing responsible for warehouse team member performanceAssisting with process improvementsOwning safety on your shiftPerforming team member evaluations at various times during the yearManaging the labor cost for your operationBeing happy to work one hour prior to the start of your shift and about 20 minutes following to ensure proper shift transitionThe right candidate will have:High School Diploma required, a college degree is a plusComfort setting goals and discussing performance with associatesEvidence of analytical reasoning and mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divideFlexibility to attend occasional meetings before the shift2-3 years of warehouse experienceAt least 2 years of supervisory experienceExperience with a WMS system is helpfulProficiency in Microsoft Excel and WordRF scanner experience (preferred)About the team:At Kalmbach Feeds, we believe our Warehouse team is vital to the success of our business.
