Supply Chain Operations Specialist

Kraus Hamdani Aerospace (KHA) is an aerospace company specializing in long-endurance unmanned aerial platforms for a wide variety of industries. KHA supports a number of customers to carry out missions involving aerial reconnaissance, survey, communication relay and communications provisioning. Endurance, enabled by effective design, is key to these applications and KHA aircraft utilize cutting‑edge aircraft design together with on‑board intelligence to deliver value for these customers. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Operations Specialist to join our team. This role is owning the end‑to‑end process of procurement, receiving, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will excel in adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), have a keen eye for detail, and possess strong organizational skills to maintain efficient workflows within the supply chain department. Location: Hayward, CA Key Responsibilities: Procurement Management: Drive the day‑to‑day procurement lifecycle, including material planning, generating Requests for Quotation (RFQs), creating Purchase Orders (POs), and tracking orders through fulfillment. Collaborate directly with production and engineering teams to forecast material needs and ensure timely material availability. Follow up with vendors and resolve all routine vendor and supply chain issues (e.g., delays, shipping errors). Receiving Operations: Own the intake process, including inspecting all incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and compliance. Verify and document material receipt, ensuring all associated paperwork is accurate and complete. Communicate and resolve discrepancies or issues with vendors promptly. Inventory Management: Maintain absolute accuracy in inventory records using inventory management software. Establish and lead regular cycle counts and full inventory audits. Strategically organize and manage warehouse storage to maximize efficiency and accessibility. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or inventory management are a plus. Proven experience in logistics, material handling, or inventory management roles. Proficiency with inventory management software. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record‑keeping. Ability to follow and enforce SOPs consistently. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Physical ability to lift and move materials up to 55 lbs and operate warehouse equipment as needed.
