Sanitation Hourly EmployeeDepartment: 123Manager: Sanitation SupervisorDirect Reports: NoneOther key team/positions: QA, MaintenanceKey Responsibilities:Follow all GMP, safety, and departmental proceduresResponsible for implementing cleaning procedures on assigned equipment (i.e. clean, scrub, and sanitize plant equipment, overhead pipes, conveyors, floor, and walls using high pressure hose, and drying where required to restore sanitary conditions on a daily basis)Inspect area of responsibility to ensure proper cleaning of facility, machinery, and equipmentOperate heavy machinery and industrial plant equipment (may include forklift, pallet jack, or hand truck)Report any damage to equipment to Maintenance departmentAssist in other department areas as neededMust maintain an attendance record with no more than a 5% absentee ratePhysical Requirements:Ability to lift approximately 30 pounds (occasionally more); ability to bend, squat, and climb repeatedly for an entire shift; job requires extensive use of the hands for long periods of time; long periods of standing; ability to adapt to varying work environments, such as waste, debris, and cold or hot weather)Skills and Knowledge:Communication skills (listen and provide constructive feedback)Attention to detail, be thorough, and complete all tasks/assignments in a timely mannerWork under pressure and in a fast paced environmentAbility to safely work around various cleaning chemicalsAbility to work well as a teamFollow all safety requirementsCompetencies:Core CompetenciesIntegritySimplicityDisciplineTeamworkServant LeadershipJob Specific CompetenciesExcellent work ethicsSelf-startingEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
