Travel Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit - 7P - 7A
Location: Aurora, CO
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 7 PM to 7 AM
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in acute care PCU, with the ability to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and provide care to patients with acute and chronic medical issues.
- Monitor patient vitals and manage medication administration.
- Work collaboratively with day and night staff, including RNs and CNAs.
- Adapt to care for a diverse patient population with various medical conditions.
- Float to all inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum 1-year current acute care PCU experience.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
- Preferred: 2 years of strong telemetry experience.
- Chemo Certification is a plus and would enable scheduling on the Oncology unit.
