Senior Fund Accountant - Real Estate Private Equity

Job Description Join our Real Estate Systems Implementation Group (RESIG) where you will support our clients through comprehensive fund accounting and audit processes. What You Will Do Contribute to a team covering one or more client relationships. Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Statement of Investments, Statement of Operations, Statement of Cash Flows, and Notes. Prepare general ledger and work paper files for accuracy and completeness, covering capital activity, investment activity, income and expense accruals. Prepare Partner Capital reports including Partner P&L. Calculate monthly interest accruals, management fees and capital allocations. Generate capital call and distribution notices, sources/uses of cash, and investor notices. Reconcile cash balances daily for multiple accounts. Calculate quarter‑end final and estimated NAVs. Support the year‑end audit process in collaboration with the team, client, and auditors. Train and mentor junior staff. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field. 3+ years of experience in fund accounting and/or assurance for financial services clients (hedge funds, private equity, or other alternative asset managers preferred). Preferred Qualifications Prior experience at a public accounting firm. CPA or parts passed toward completion. Master’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field. Experience using Yardi and/or MRI.
