Job Responsibilities
  • Create Tailored Treatment Approaches: Assess the unique needs of each patient to develop personalized therapy strategies that help them achieve their functional aspirations.
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to boost patients' motor functions, mental acuity, and daily living skills.
  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Engage deeply with OTs, PTs, STs, healthcare providers, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Guide Patients and Families: Offer education and support to patients and their families, helping to sustain positive progress outside of the clinical environment.
  • Track and Adjust Treatments: Monitor patient advancements, document clinical outcomes, and adapt as necessary to ensure continued progress and success.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and additional certifications is highly encouraged and supported.
Licensure
  • Active OTR/L certification required.
  • Certification from the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) is essential.
