AI Product Strategist

This person will be help evaluate and contextualize AI use cases across customer facing products. They will help strategize plan and implementation plans including evaluating whether they should build internally with their data science team, engage an outside agency to build, or pay for a tool.

Required Experience:

1. Experience evaluating AI tools & use case execution
2. Experience with customer facing AI product development
3. Experience with MCP and backend layer/support

5–10 years of Product Management experience

Ecommerce experience

Strong communication skills to present to leadership and stakeholders during reoccurring meetings

Demonstrated experience delivering AI-enabled customer experiences or AI-powered products.

Strong understanding of LLM concepts, prompt engineering, RAG, MCP, APIs, and AI integrations (not necessarily building models).

Experience working closely with Engineering, UX, and Data Science teams.

Strong customer journey and product discovery skills.

Ability to evaluate emerging AI technologies and translate them into practical business solutions.

This is a Contract position based out of Long Island City, NY.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $90.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
