Great Fun.As a General Manager:To be successful in this role, you'll need management skills and experience in both front and back of the house, as well as events and pickleball activities. The GM will direct and oversee operations in all departments, including Pickleball, Events, Catering, Kitchen, Service / Bar, Hospitality, Community. You will inspire, train, and oversee the departmental managers and develop their skills and accountability.Responsibilities:Embody Chicken N Pickle's core values: Authenticity, Community, Connection, Integrity,and QualityDemonstrates and supports a culture of diversity, equality and inclusionCoordinate daily Front of the House, Pickleball and Back of the House operationsSupervise and evaluate department managersHire and terminate teammates, with department managersDeliver superior service and maximize customer satisfactionRespond efficiently and accurately to customer complaintsRegularly review product quality and research new vendorsOversee staffing levels and Cost of GoodsAppraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivityEnsure compliance with sanitation and safety regulationsCompliance with all local, city, state and federal Alcohol laws and guidelinesManage and protect Chicken N Pickle's brand and innovate ways to improve the brandControl operational costs and identify measures to cut wasteCreate detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expensesPromote the brand locally through community and restaurant eventsRecommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. social media, community relationships, Happy Hour etc)Train new and current employees on proper customer service practicesImplement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operationsPromote continuous skill development through online courses, coaching and training programsQualifications:5+ years of full-service, high volume General Manager experienceProven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager, or similar roleExcellent organizational and leadership skillsKnowledge of Food Safety, liquor requirements and quality standardsFamiliarity with restaurant management software, like HotSchedules, Point of Sale and accounting software.Strong leadership, motivational and people skillsFinancial management skillsBS degree in Business Administration; hospitality management or culinary schooling is a plus.Perform in an active, fast paced, indoor and outdoor venue, during inclement weather, holidays, weekends and nights.Benefits:Medical, Dental, Vision InsuranceLife Insurance401K + Company matching program20 days of PTO each year4 Volunteer PTO days each yearEmployee PerksWork Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
