Registered Nurse

The position is for a registered nurse in the MS/Tele specialty. The nurse will work night shifts. Each shift will last for 12 hours. Floating to various locations may be required. The nurse will care for a diverse patient population, including adults and geriatrics. Patient assignments will typically involve a ratio of 1:6. The nursing role will include vital signs monitoring, medication reconciliation, and interpretation of laboratory results. Dressing changes and aseptic procedure setups will also be required. The nurse will engage in telephone triage and address pharmacy refill requests. Care will be provided to patients with conditions such as CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injury, and generalized debility. Support from interdisciplinary teams, including IV therapy and respiratory services, will be available. The environment focuses on specialized care for patients with rehabilitation needs following surgery, strokes, or brain injuries. Candidates must be prepared for a Pass/Fail EKG exam during the compliance process. The role supports the recovery and rehabilitation of patients in an inpatient setting.
