ERP Functional Consultant, Southfield, MI, US ERP Functional Consultant Key Responsibilities Participate in project planning, scoping discussions, and implementation activities with clients and stakeholders. interface with salesforce HRMS. Support process teams by explaining technical interface flows and system integrations. Perform process analysis and gap analysis to stabilize solutions and reduce recurring business incidents. Handle incidents, enhancements, and bug fixes in SAP modules while ensuring no adverse financial impact. Coordinate with global teams to ensure standardized process implementation across regions and business units. Conduct requirement fitment analysis, effort estimation, and solution assessments. Review Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and translate business requirements into SAP MM functional solutions. Design functional solutions and collaborate with ABAP development teams for technical implementation and unit testing. Prepare and review functional specifications, test scenarios, and testing documentation. Perform unit testing, system testing, and integration testing for SAP applications and interfaces. Provide technical and SME support to offshore development and support teams. Work with cross-functional application teams to design and support interfaces for seamless information flow. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolve testing-related issues with end users. Execute cutover, deployment, and go-live activities for project implementations. Provide hypercare and go-live support by collaborating with testing, development, and business teams to resolve production issues. Deliver warranty support for project-related issues during the post-implementation support period. Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and transition support activities to AMS/support teams for long-term maintenance. Facilitate training sessions and knowledge-sharing workshops on SAP MM functional processes. Required Skills & Experience Hands-on experience with SAP MM implementation, enhancements, production support, and incident management. Experience collaborating with ABAP development teams to prepare functional specifications and support custom developments. Experience integrating SAP with Salesforce and other enterprise applications. Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including change management, testing, and release management. Experience supporting integration testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production deployments. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and global teams in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication, documentation, and end-user training skills. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; 6+ years preferred.
