Spherion Staffing is hiring an experienced Bookkeeper/ Accountant for a consulting firm in Wichita Falls, TX! The working schedule is Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm & Fridays 8:30am-12:00pm, with pay up to $25.00/hr depending on experience.

Responsibilities:
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Managing tax filings and preparing tax returns.
- Preparing and processing payments
- Balancing debit and credits
- All basic administrative tasks
- Ensuring compliance with accounting principles (GAAP) and other relevant regulations.

Skills:
- Works well under pressure, is able to multi-task and is detail oriented.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, typing, 10-Key data entry, telephone etiquette and customer service
- Math skills
- Communication skills

Qualifications:
- Associates/ Bachelor's degree in Accounting

- Proven work experience in accounting and/or bookkeeping
- QuickBooks knowledge
